Conditions of Entry by Land

Negative PCR Test Result

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated visitors will be required to present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test done in a certified laboratory within 24hrs before departure to Seychelles.

PCR Test Exemptions

All fully immunised visitors are exempted from pre-travel PCR test

Exemption is also granted to visitors having recently tested positive to the COVID-19 virus -between 2 to 12 weeks prior to travel – upon provision of proof of infection and recovery.

Asymptomatic infants under the age of 2years old are exempted from providing a PCR or Antigen test for entry

Note: Immunisation requirement

Over 18- Individual received the first two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine including a booster dose after 6 six months since completing the primary series.

Visitors aged 12 to 18 years necessitate the completion of only two vaccine doses.


Other Mandatory Requirements

  • Travel Authorisation (TA)

Although no visa is required for entry into Seychelles, all visitors must, apply for entry through the Travel Authorisation (TA) platform at seychelles.govtas.com.

  • Vaccination certificate (not older than 6 months) or equivalent document

  • Valid travel insurance

  • Valid Medical insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs (isolation, quarantine, and treatment)

Note: The TA document is essential for travel and will be required at check-in counters. Visitors failing to provide the TA document will not be allowed by the airline company to board for Seychelles.


Conditions of Entry by Sea

Visitors must make an application for entry by e-mail to pha@health.gov.sc for Travel Authorisation.


Other Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid travel insurance

  • Valid Medical insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs (isolation, quarantine, and treatment)

Visitors arriving by sea must have spent at least 10 days at sea from the last port of call and should be without symptoms of COVID-19 during this period.

Arrival or Day 5 PCR test is not required, however should visitors or crew wish to disembark prior to the completion of 10 days at sea or on-board, they would need to undertake a COVID-19 PCR test (at cost) upon arrival, with all results negative.
